What makes Baddies Bookshop different from other bookstores?
Baddies is not your average checkout-and-go kind of store. It is where romance gets real, through exclusive collector editions, spicy tropes, and beautifully curated book boxes that make your shelf (and soul) scream. We’re indie, inclusive, and a little chaotic. Just how we like it.
What kind of books do you feature in the Baddies Book Box?
Expect contemporary romance with bite. We spotlight stories packed with dark romance, bully vibes, mafia drama, and enemies-to-lovers tension, all leading to the kind of hard-won happily-ever-afters that hurt so good. If it’s fierce, filthy, and full of feelings? It’s Baddies material.
Where do I manage my book box subscription?
If you’re looking for your Baddies Book Box subscription details, you’ll need to log in over at baddiesbookbox.com, that’s where we manage all the magic. It's separate from our regular store, so don’t panic if you don’t see your sub here!
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards. AfterPay is available for shop purchases (because yes, you do deserve that foil-stamped signed edition). At the moment, we don’t offer PayPal. However, stay tuned we’re always evolving.
Can I cancel my order or subscription?
Shop orders and open pre-orders can be cancelled within 24 hours, as long as they haven’t shipped. But subscriptions? Once you’re in, you’re in. All subscription purchases (including renewals) are final sale.
Shipping
Do you ship Internationally?
Absolutely! Baddies ships worldwide. International shipping costs are calculated based on package weight and destination. Customs fees, currency conversion fees, or other country-specific charges may apply please check details at checkout.
When will my Baddies Book Box ship?
Boxes ship in batches toward the end of each month. You’ll usually get tracking by the 20th, but it can vary slightly depending on production timelines. A little delayed gratification never hurt anybody.
How quickly will my shop order ship?
We aim to ship shop orders within 5-7 business days. Though we often move faster when we can. Please be aware signed editions or preorder items may extend your processing time.
What if my box or item is missing or lost in the mail?
If your tracking shows delivered but you don’t see your package, don’t panic, but definitely don’t wait.
First, check:
- With neighbors or roommates
- Around your mailbox or porch
- If someone else in your home might’ve snagged it
If it’s still MIA after a reasonable check, please use our contact form below ASAP. Please include with your order number and tracking info.
Baddies is responsible for getting your order to the address provided at checkout. If you’ve used a freight forwarder, our responsibility ends at delivery to the forwarder. (You'll need to follow up with them directly if something goes wrong after that point.)
We'll do everything we can to help resolve the situation, but once an item is marked as delivered, replacements or refunds are offered at our discretion.
Refunds & Returns
Can I return or exchange my order?
All sales are final. We don’t accept returns or exchanges, sorry, Baddie. We're a small indie business and each item is packed with love and dedication. We are certain you will love your items as much as we do. However, please make sure you are certain before hitting “Buy.”
What if my item arrives damaged?
If your item arrives damaged or your box is missing something, submit a claim within 7 days of delivery using our contact form. Be sure to include photos of the item and packaging. Please make sure you hang onto the item, we may request a return or offer a replacement or partial refund, depending on the situation.
We got you. If your book or product arrives damaged, we’ll do everything we can to make it right. Please fill out our Damage & Claims Form within 7 days of delivery.
Please note if you're using a forwarding service, your 7-day claim window starts from the day it's delivered to the forwarder, not your final address.
To file a claim, make sure you include:
- Clear photos of the damaged item
- Photos of the outside and inside of the shipping packaging
Claims without the required photos or submitted outside the 7-day window will be automatically denied (we’re strict about this to protect everyone involved).
Once we review your claim, the Baddies team will determine next steps. This may include, sending a replacement, offering a partial refund, requesting the item be returned or safely disposed of
Hot tip: Keep your item and packaging until we confirm what to do next, as we may need it.
What counts as “damage”?
We take quality seriously, and if your book arrives truly banged up, we want to make it right. We’ll happily review a claim if your item has any of the following:
- Tears, cuts, or scratches over 1cm on the front cover, spine, or dust jacket
- Marks or residue over 1cm on the book's cover/spine that can't be wiped away
- Crushed corners or dents larger than 1cm
- Multiple ripped or bent pages that affect readability
- Major production defects, like missing foil, finishes, or printing issues
What doesn’t count as "damage"?
Books are printed, foiled, sprayed, and packed by hand—and while we aim for perfection, some minor flaws are part of the indie charm. The following are not considered damage:
- Small blemishes or scuffs on the back cover or dust jacket
- Tiny white specks or minor scratches on sprayed edges
- Slight bleeding of sprayed edges onto the page block
- Minor creases at the top or base of the spine, or corner bumps under 1cm
- Light page waviness that doesn’t affect readability
