Refund policy
All sales made through Baddies Bookshop are final. This includes subscriptions, pre-orders, and in-stock shop items. We do not accept cancellations, returns, or exchanges once a purchase is completed. Please review product details carefully before placing your order.
Damaged or Missing Items
If your item arrives damaged or missing, we’ll do everything in our power to make it right.
To begin a claim:
Submit your request via our Damage & Missing Item Claim Form
within seven (7) days of delivery.
PLEASE NOTE: If you used a freight forwarder, the seven-day window begins the day your package is delivered to the forwarder.
All claims must include:
- Clear photographs of the damaged item(s)
- Photos of both the exterior and interior of the original shipping package
- A description of the issue
Claims submitted without required documentation will be denied.
Once your claim is reviewed, we will determine the best course of action. This may include a replacement item (if available), a partial refund, or store credit. Please retain the item until we confirm next steps—sometimes we may request return of the item or disposal instructions.
Criteria for a Book to Be Considered Damaged:
- Tears, cuts, or scratches on the book’s front, spine, or dust jacket exceeding 1cm
- Permanent marks or residue over 1cm on visible areas of the book that cannot be removed
- Dents or crushed edges over 1cm
- Multiple ripped or bent pages that impact readability
- Obvious production defects (e.g., missing foil, unfinished edges)
Not Considered Damage:
- Minor blemishes on the back cover or dust jacket
- Small white spots or scratches on sprayed edges
- Slight bleeding or fading on edge designs
- Minor creases or waves on dust jackets or corners
- Slight warping of pages due to humidity or storage
